The Duiker (Cephalophinae) is one of the "tiny ten antelopes of southern Africa". They are small, forest-dwelling antelopes that are very adaptable to changing environmental conditions. In the wild they are scarcely observable, as they are mainly nocturnal and shy. The food consists of grasses, leaves, fruits, tubers and flowers. They behave very aggressively towards conspacifics. Males as well as females carry horns. The coloration varies between species – the Wildcrete 3d Duiker is a "common Duiker" and thus the most common genus.
